The National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID) is organizing a conference on World AIDS Day, December 1, intended for infectious disease specialists, epidemiologists, phthisiologists, and family physicians. The conference will be held under the theme: “Overcoming Barriers, Transforming the Response to HIV/AIDS.” The event will address current issues related to HIV/AIDS, as well as Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and syphilis, including: Preventive measures implemented in the Republic, Epidemiological trends of the past year, Innovative approaches and strategic directions for future action, The new Hepatitis B treatment guideline.
