The Infectious Diseases Intensive Care and Resuscitation Department of the National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID) is one of the most critical units of the Center. It provides specialized medical care for patients with infectious pathologies of any complexity, implementing interventions aimed at restoring and maintaining the functions of vital organ systems.

The department has 15 beds and is equipped with modern devices necessary for resuscitation and intensive therapy, including non-invasive respiratory support (CPAP devices), respiratory support devices with intelligent modes, equipment for assessing acid-base balance, multifunctional beds with intellectual modes and anti-decubitus mattresses, and more.

The application of advanced medical technologies, the use of the latest treatment methods, the high qualification of medical and nursing staff, and their compassionate approach enable successful treatment of patients aged 0–18 in severe and critical conditions.

Physicians in the Infectious Diseases Intensive Care and Resuscitation Department regularly undergo advanced training, including in leading international medical institutions.
